DESCRIPTION:Geelong Canoe Club\, Marnock Road\, Newtown (not Corio Bay Rowing Club) \n\n\n\nSingles races on Saturday\, doubles races on Sunday.  \n\n\n\nAll crew members must enter (i.e. both crew members of doubles craft need their own registration). \n\n\n\nAge categories\, race classes and race distances are explained on the event flyer. \n\n\n\nWe expect to receive a life jacket exemption for paddlers in U23 classes and above.  However\, all paddlers\, regardless of age\, must bring an approved life jacket / PFD (Personal Flotation Device).  Inflatables are not acceptable.  \n\n\n\nCheck-in: Saturday (singles): 8:30 to 9:00 am. Briefing 9:30 am. Racing starts 10:00 am \n\n\n\nCheck-in: Sunday (doubles): 7:30 to 8:00 am. Briefing 8:30 am. Racing starts 9:00 am. \n\n\n\nICF K and kneeling C class includes portage as specified. Other kayak and canoe/SUP classes do not portage. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nSingles on Saturday. DESCRIPTION:Victorian Schools Canoe Championships for marathon and sprint.  Nagambie Lakes Regatta Centre. \n\n\n\nAge groups: U10\, U12\, U14\, U16 & U18. \n\n\n\nThree main boat classes: \n\n\n\n\nICF (K1\, K2\, C1\, C2) \n\n\n\nTouring double blade (TK1\, TK2\, sea kayaks\, skis\, slalom\, sit-on-top\, DRR\, etc.) \n\n\n\nTouring single blade (TC1\, TC2\, UC1\, UC2\, SUPs\, outriggers\, va’a) \n\n\n\n\nRace distances: Marathon: U18 ICF 3.3 km\, all other ages/craft types 2.2 km.  Sprint: 200 m (for all ages and craft type). \n\n\n\nPortage for Marathon U18 ICF class (K1\, K2\, C1\, C2).  No portage for other ages/craft types. \n\n\n\nAge category for juniors (U10 to U18) is based on the paddler’s age as of 1st January (i.e. to paddle U18 you must be 17 or under on 1st January; you can turn 18 during the year). Age category for crew boats (e.g. doubles) is set by the age of the oldest paddler for junior crews. \n\n\n\nWearing a PFD is mandatory for this event. \n\n\n\nYou may enter up to four events (marathon singles\, marathon doubles\, sprint singles\, sprint doubles). One or more K4 events will also be held (determined by boat availability) for U18 and U16 crew members. Crew members do not all have to be from the same school. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThere is a flat fee  of $45 for Paddle Australia members\, $56 for non-members for the day ($5 discount for early bird registration). No registrations on the day.

DESCRIPTION:2024 Murray River Classic\, Boat ramp\, Loop Track\, off Cullens Road\, Yarrawonga\, VIC.  \n\n\n\nCheck-in: 8:00 am to 9:00 am sharp. Briefing 9:30 am. Racing starts 10:00 am. \n\n\n\nPresentation and lunch at the Criterion Hotel\, from 12:30 pm. \n\n\n\nThis is a designated “Singles” event. Doubles craft are welcome. Each paddler must register. \n\n\n\nYou may choose the distance you wish to paddle. However\, please do not choose the longest distance unless you can paddle at greater than 11.5 km/hr over that distance. Beach portage for ICF craft in Divisions 1 to 5. \n\n\n\nWearing of an approved Life Jacket / PFD (personal flotation device) is mandatory for this event.  \n\n\n\nMore Information coming soon.
