DESCRIPTION:The fourth of the 2024 Yarra Series races is on Sunday 28th July at Fitzsimons Lane Bridge.  The event is suitable for beginners and the elite.  There is a separate beginners race for paddlers new to the sport to enable a low key introduction to slalom racing.  \n\n\n\nEntries can be made via the Paddle Victoria Website\, https://vic.paddle.org.au/ or using the links \n\n\n\n Beginners Race 4 (even though entry is free\, follow the cart process through to completion) or Yarra Series Race 4 \n\n\n\nRegular entries close at 9pm Thursday 25th July 2024.  Online entries can be made after that time at a cost of $30.  Entries may be taken on the day until 8:00 (Cost $30)\, no entries will be taken after that time.  Online entries assist in helping the event run smoothly.  Complications with the start lists on the day can delay the start. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThe Beginners’ Race is free.  The regular Yarra Series Race is $25.

Age category for crew boats (e.g. doubles) is set by the age of the oldest paddler for junior crews. \n\n\n\nWearing a PFD is mandatory for this event. \n\n\n\nYou may enter up to four events (marathon singles\, marathon doubles\, sprint singles\, sprint doubles). One or more K4 events will also be held (determined by boat availability) for U18 and U16 crew members. Crew members do not all have to be from the same school. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThere is a flat fee  of $45 for Paddle Australia members\, $56 for non-members for the day ($5 discount for early bird registration).
