DESCRIPTION:Victorian Schools Canoe Championships for marathon and sprint.  Nagambie Lakes Regatta Centre. \n\n\n\nAge groups: U10\, U12\, U14\, U16 & U18. \n\n\n\nThree main boat classes: \n\n\n\n\nICF (K1\, K2\, C1\, C2) \n\n\n\nTouring double blade (TK1\, TK2\, sea kayaks\, skis\, slalom\, sit-on-top\, DRR\, etc.) \n\n\n\nTouring single blade (TC1\, TC2\, UC1\, UC2\, SUPs\, outriggers\, va’a) \n\n\n\n\nRace distances: Marathon: U18 ICF 3.3 km\, all other ages/craft types 2.2 km.  Sprint: 200 m (for all ages and craft type). \n\n\n\nPortage for Marathon U18 ICF class (K1\, K2\, C1\, C2).  No portage for other ages/craft types. \n\n\n\nAge category for juniors (U10 to U18) is based on the paddler’s age as of 1st January (i.e. to paddle U18 you must be 17 or under on 1st January; you can turn 18 during the year). Age category for crew boats (e.g. doubles) is set by the age of the oldest paddler for junior crews. \n\n\n\nWearing a PFD is mandatory for this event. \n\n\n\nYou may enter up to four events (marathon singles\, marathon doubles\, sprint singles\, sprint doubles). One or more K4 events will also be held (determined by boat availability) for U18 and U16 crew members. Crew members do not all have to be from the same school. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThere is a flat fee  of $45 for Paddle Australia members\, $56 for non-members for the day ($5 discount for early bird registration). No registrations on the day.

SUMMARY:Echuca Mini or Broken Creek Classic
DESCRIPTION:2024 Echuca Mini Marathon\, from Barmah to Echuca (Moama Beach) \n\n\n\nEach paddler in a crew or team must register.  \n\n\n\nThis event covers part of Day 3 of the MMP course. There are three distance options. Full distance (48km)\, Relay (48km) or short distance (MMP Checkpoint C (old checkpoint D) to Moama Beach\, 18km). The relay has three legs (12km\, 18km and 18km).  \n\n\n\nFull distance and Relay check-in at Jack Edwards Park\, Barmah from 6am. Volunteer briefing 6:30am. Competitor briefing 6:45am. First start 7am. \n\n\n\nShort course check-in at Checkpoint C (old D) from 9:30am. Competitor briefing 10:15am. First start 10:30am.   \n\n\n\nThe aim is to have all paddlers finishing reasonably close together and off the water by 12:30pm to simplify on-water safety near Echuca (given the presence of power boats and jet skis).  \n\n\n\nFor more information 2023 PV Marathon Echuca Mini Flyer \n\n\n\nSafety requirements – Wearing an approved PFD is madatory for this event. Paddlers will also need a mobile phone in a waterproof pouch\, a pea-less whistle attached to their PFD\, an emergency blanket\, and a dry bag with a change of warm clothes.
